I love Morphine so much. Rock/jazz/blues/pop but with no guitars; just a drummer, bassist and saxophonist. There's a murky aura to their sound (lonely night music) but it still maintains some serious groove. The cynical lyricism and dead-pan vocals just add to the bands mystique. All the records sound top notch too, really quality at high volumes.
