THE IDEA:

Seeking to enrich brightonb's musical landscape and perhaps edify and/or entertain the rest of us with his reactions. This thread is mainly for people that know and respect brightonb's musical taste and want to share music with him in a (possibly) friendly environment, so keep the condescension down unless it relates to the music, and try to think of the audience and context and not just use this as an opportunity to slag off bb. If you have built up anger towards him, probably best to stay away.

THE RULES:

Suggest an lp/ep that brightonb hasn't heard, feel free to ask him (itt) about things he's not familiar with in order to find things to suggest. How he finds and listens to the music is up to him and/or the suggester to figure out, I have a personal hunch that he will be mediafiring all the suggestions. brightonb has consented to listen to 1 suggestion every 2-3 weeks, as decided by volunteers. Simply click "^this" on on my first post if you'd like to participate and we'll go in order. When you give your suggestion, clearly state what it is, what you think about it and some possible ways to hear it. Hopefully others will chime in that are familiar with the suggestions and we'll get a nice healthy discussion going. Anyone else that hasn't heard the suggestion should also feel free to get involved and use this as a communal club. If the thread gets crazy, brightonb reserves the right to wash his hands of it. I'll go first, but I don't have a pick yet so I'll be asking him some questions to get the ball rolling.
