Maybe the version they played live before the album release was better? Sounded more raw/chaotic/more energy etc.?

Anyway IMO the live version of Morning Bell from I Might Be Wrong Live is better than the Kid A one. The intense verse he adds in ("I tried to tell you but you never listen...") just before the screaming guitars sounds incredible.
