Why does this band get so overlooked?

Static Age has some of the finest pop-orientated punk songs of all time. Hard to believe this was recorded in 1978. Static Age, T.V. Casualty, Some Kinda Hate, Last Caress, Hybrid Moments, Bullet...

Walk Amoung Us - Just awesome start to finish. Such a blast. Astro Zombies is the highlight.

Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood - surely the most accessible hardcore album ever. Death Comes Ripping is one hell of a tune.

Not to mention some cracking B-sides - Where Eagles Dare, Horror Hotel, Halloween....

Of course, the legacy has been trashed since the band continued without Danzig and produced a load of AOR mediocrity. I think they just don't get enough credit outside of the derided AFI-emo type circles. They're my favorite punk band hands down.
