At music at the moment aren't they?

The likes of Rihanna, Gaga, Katy Perry, Adele, Jessie J, Katy Perry, Nicole Scherzinger, Beyonce and J-Lo
are totally ruling the charts, whereas Braids, Pj Harvey, Emmy The Great, Tuneyards, EMA and St Vincent are making some of the most interesting and exciting music around at the moment.

I know this isn't really a new thing and that female artists have long been making great music, but they really seem to be dominating at the moment especially in the top 40.

I don't really know what the point of this thread is, I guess 'Why is this happening?' is an unanswerable question, so I suppose we could use it as an excuse to post links to great songs by female artists.
I don't know, do what you want with it, I just wanted to tell someone.
