I'd imagine Factory Floor are an example of a band whose sound works very well on an EP (though I'd argue the 'Unfinished Business' EP does have quite a playing length to it. I'm not sure their sound would work well when stretched out to the length of a full LP.

Any other examples of (great) bands/ artists who never released any LPs or bands who shouldn't?
