What exactly qualifies? It seems to be albums which get an 8 or above, though I have noticed some omissions.

Recently Okkervil River's album received a score of 8 but was not included, and now David Thomas Broughton's album has got a 9.

Just curious about gems that I hay have missed because I focus on recommended records rather than reviews, especially for artists I don't know.
