NEGATIVITY THREAD ALERT.

I usually avoid stuff I know I won't be fond of, but from being subjected to Radio 2 at work I am becoming increasingly aware of the shite that is passing itself off as music these days.

The worst:
Noah and the Whale - 5 years time was alright but their new stuff is absolutely wretched. I genuinely thought that Life Goes On and the new one that sounds pretty much EXACTLY THE SAME were by some middling American troubadour a la Jack Johnson or Ray Lamontagne until someone said to me "Don't you hate that new NatW song?" and I was like "What song?" and they were like "The one that goes L.I.F.E.G etc etc" and I was like "That's them??!!"
What's with the backing chorus singing on all the songs?

Claire Maguire - Not sure if this is supposed to be serious but I'm sure I saw her name on the Sound of 2011 list. Has any artist ever ripped off one of their contemporaries as much as she clearly has before? Genuinely thought this was Florence and the Machine the first few times I heard it.
