I’m a huge fan of anything psychey or garagey, but The Doors always irritated me – just seem like pub-rock fronted by a pretentious pseudo-poet. Have picked up the first six albums over the years, but am looking to pack them all on eBay...
Before I do, can anyone convince me they’re worth keeping? Throw out a couple of little-known album tracks that may endear them to me. Tell me what you love about his lyrics, or about the albums or whatevs. Or just agree with me. I’m intrigued. Cheers x
