kinda like Sufjan and Deerhunter last year where it wasn't clear until only a month or two before the release that there'd be new stuff. Bon Iver is a recent one, didn't know that one at all. Also the dude from Fuck Buttons has announced a solo record - that's out of the leftfield.

First and foremost, I'm hoping on Burial. Stolen Dog was especially amazing, but the EP as a whole is pretty darn good. Also Animal Collective are touring new material so that could be quite likely. DFA79, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Maxïmo Park, Sonic Youth, Japandroids, Late Of The Pier, Franz Ferdinand, QOTSA, and anything from Andre 3000 would all be super too.

I would say 'be realistic, I doubt Neutral Milk Hotel or Daft Punk or Boards of Canada or The Avalanches will blah blah' but: Tom Vek. so, yeah.
