I think his debut is pretty good and everything, but I don't really get why there's SUCH A MASSIVE HOO-HAA over his return - and not even just amongst us geeks, he was trending on twitter a couple of weeks ago! - Nationwide trending for TOM VEK?

I just wonder how he came to have this almost mystical air - when other artists with a decent first album disappear off the radar for six years people usually lose interest...
