so for the first time in what feels like years i now find myself needing, rather than wanting, to read someone else's views on a record. bill callahan's new album is not being streamed anywhere that i can find, and i don't download music illegally. more than that, i think i want to buy the album but i'm not sure - i loved smog, enjoyed 'woke on a whale heart', but wasn't wildly thrilled by 'wish we were'.

so, anyone read any good reviews of the new bill callahan album?
