Inspired by the Good Shoes thread, I'm wondering if anyone here likes (or even remembers) Tompaulin?

The Town And The City is a dark indiepop classic. Wrong place at wrong time maybe? (it came out in 2001).

Into The Black is a stunning album too, even more dark though. It's a real shame that Jamie Holman's songwriting isn't recognised as something more special.

Anyhoo, just wondering is anyone still listens to them. They're certainly the best band to come out of Blackburn.
