So every viral video that gets gets released nowadays eventually gets timestretched, and people have a laugh and go "LOL sounds lyk sigger Ros or sumthing!!11". And the thing is, some of them do sound amazing (the Jurrasic Park theme especially). But seeing as you could probably do it to a million songs and make them sound listenable, is it a worthwhile thing to be doing, or is it a pointless gimmick devaluing real artistic experimentation?
