I have it in my head that a lot of bands can't do this, their approach to writing would probably go against this completely.

I thought about back in the day with The Beatles making 6 albums in 2 years and the fact that of course they HAD to write on the road, and I'm sure most bands back in the day also had to.

A lot of great music came out in those days, at a rapid release pace aswell, so why not now? Maybe music would be better..?
