I think this record is really strong. A lot of great, memorable songs with interesting guitar parts and hooky melodies. Yeah, maybe it doesn't reinvent the wheel and there are other bands who are pushing the envelope who I enjoy, but for me, music doesn't have to be 'like nothing you've ever heard before' for it to be good - I say bravo - it's a succint, catchy, interesting record and for me it's a real return to form for them.
