I have a vague recollection of a 1989 Melody Maker reporting that Dinosaur Jr had done a Peel session (around the time of the release of their Just Like Heaven single) in which they covered Girlfriend In A Coma and Bad Medicine. Yet I've scoured Youtube & Google but have found no mention of these intriguing versions.

Do they exist, are they a figment of my drunken student imagination, or was it one of the regular wind-ups that MM used to print in those days? (One particularly infuriating one being a report that the Young Gods & Front 242, both big Maker faves, were doing a joint New Year's Eve gig in Notre Dame Cathedral - I was living in France at the time and made a complete tool of myself trying to get tickets...)
