Inspired by the Cave In thread.

I remember reading quite a few things about Cave In: description of their sound, links to Converge, a lot of people whose tastes I rate going on about how great they are.

Yet... never clicked with me. Never set my world on fire at all.

So what about you? Which bands/artists did you expect to love when you first heard of them but left you cold.
