So, should I be surprised or what? Probably not. However, I booked tickets for me and a mate to see Angels & Airwaves in Brum last night and, based on their recorded output (3 albums), I at least expected it to sound half-decent in a 'ripping-off-'Pride'-era-U2-but-with-Blink-vocals' kinda way.
The dude CANNOT SING. At all... He kinda hiccup-talks like he has a speech impediment. And he doesn't hit one single note that he does on record. Seriously. His albums must be revered as THE Bible in Auto-tune/pitch correction techniques. Anyone else found this out? Any other shocking live singers out there that we should all avoid?
