In the tongue very firmly plunged in cheek entitled thread about buzz bands, there was a fair bit of talk about there being a lack of the new 65days, Youthmovies, Danana' type bands currently talked about on these boards and celebrated by DiS. Personally, I think there's a tonne of brilliant new UK acts that people are passionate about talked about on these boards already (Joy Orbison, Mount Kimbie, Girl Unit, etc)

This thread is an excuse for you to mention some you've heard over the past 18months or so that you really like.
