I find it strange how poor Interpol came after Antics.

I'm going back over the music I was into in my early teens and as everyone knows, those first two albums are superb.

But they almost certainly let the press go to their heads. They were always mysterious somehow. It was hard to find interviews and they seemed secretive and it contributed to their overall well-cool image.

One thing it does do though is affirm your relief that you managed to see them before they went shit.
