Some dudes at McGill University have shown that listening to music releases dopamine
Nice to see this finally proven (although it's just a couple of brainscans).
It's said that dopamine levels rise between 6% and 21% when you're listening to your favourite music.
Q1: What music would make your dopamine levels rise to 21%?
Q2: A side effect of the research was that the three favourite pieces of music by the candidates were, 1. Barber's Adagio for Strings 2. The second part of Beethoven's 9th 3. Debussy's Claire de Lune. Is this a case for the innate beauty of 'classical' music or does it say more about the sample of the research?
