Just been listening to it - an insanely underrated album. Cracking songwriting, huge variety between tunes, and subjects including abortion, dwarfs, nonchalance and wanting to be a woman. It can be very silly in some places and very thoughtful in others, and isn't really like any other album I've ever heard.

I'm always supicious that publications crib off one anothers' Best Of lists because they don't want to seem out of the loop. That's my only explanation why this album never gets any retrospective critical love.

So what's the general consensus?
