I have been listening to FF's 3 albums and actually think that they've been rather unfortunately grown to be under-appreciated over the years. Their first album was very heavily exposed at the time, and I wonder if now they've suffered from being grouped in with a lot of that spikey post punk surge where a lot of their equivalents dropped off...

Their second album is actually pretty excellent as well as their first (though I may have rose tinted glasses, I listened to it a lot at my first year of uni). They've been a solid live presence I hear but I haven't managed to catch them.

I may just be imagining it but they seem a bit taken for granted now "oh it's Franz Ferdinand, they're alright!"
