Everyone should see Bobby Conn!
Sun 28th Nov 2010
British Wildlife & The Brudenell Presents...
Bobby Conn (Chicago, Fire / Thrill Jockey Records)
The Blanche Hudson Weekend (Leeds, Squirrel Records)
The Brudenell Social Club (Games Room)
British Wildlife is please to announce that Bobby Conn will be making an appearance at The Brudenell Social Club in the wonderful snooker room on Sunday 28th November. I whole heartedly encourage any of you who love to dance or rock out to Prince / Talking Heads / Of Montreal / Big Black or Ziggy to attend this rock concert! His last appearance was in 2004 at The Joseph's Well where he was supported by none other The Cribs & The Kaiser Chiefs, so if you like celebrity spotting, this gig may very deliver.

"Take a sprinkling of Prince, Of Montreal, a pinch of Ziggy Stardust and a smidge of Marc Bolan.
Pour on lashings of Jesus Christ Superstar and garnish with a sprig of mental outpatient before popping it in the oven to half-bake.
The result? The tight spangly trousers-wearing glam rock of Chicago's most certifiable all-round entertainer, Bobby Conn.
The pint-size performer's live shows are on level of sheer spectacle the likes of which you'll not have seen before and will seldom see again.
Effortlessly shifting from bubblegum pop to squelchy disco, heavy metal to cocktail jazz, it's jaw dropping stuff, not least because of Connhimself - a dangerously unhinged chap with the bowl-cut hairdo who dances like a gyrating gibbon."
