Forgive me 1st of all, I know there has been the odd thread on this but I haven't been able to find it.
I have been toying with the idea for a long time now and I really feel I want to start making electronic music, I'm inspired by artists such as AphexTwin, FouTet, Flying Lotus, James Blake, Burial, MountKimbie to name a few..

So could anyone who already makes electronic music help me, what would I need, I was thinking....

A Midi Keyboard, and Akai MPD18 and obviously some software Ableton Lite/FruityLoops

I am new to this so want to maybe limit the cash as I start out?

Any advice would be great, thank you!
