But here's one of the most curious turns of phrase I've ever come across on one, re. Broken Garden's Golden Sea (DiS review of which went up today):

'But just remember the sirens of Greek mythology, which lured nearby sailors with their enchanting music and voices to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island. Prepare to be beached...'

Prepare to be beached indeed. Anyone got anything similarly unselfconsciously strange?
