Can a band be ruined by one fuckwit member? Or does having an out of place idiot in a band add to it’s ‘personality’? Can’t mention the band, but trying to work out if a member should be asked to leave...

Are there any great bands that have one member who just doesn’t 'fit in' and is a bit of a laughing stock? Does it matter?
