I was wondering if anyone in Reading/ Oxford might be able to put on my mates band Flaxandfight http://www.soundcloud.com/flaxandfight please?

They’re an Electronica duo based in Gothenberg, Sweden. It’s made up of Englishman Ben (laptop) and Swedish Djamilla (vocals) and the duo are influenced by Little Dragon, The Knife, Portishead, Lamb, Venetian Snares and Aphex Twin.

The duo only began in January and played their first gig earlier in the summer. In their short time together, they’ve supported Little Dragon, remixed 65daysofstatic and played Swedish music/arts festival Dragonfly.

They will be in England for about a week and are able to play shows between these dates, Sun 24th – Wed 27th Oct. During their short stay, they wish to play as many shows as possible in London and in the South East area. Ben is a friend of mine, so I’m trying to help them secure more dates.

An opener slot would be absolutely fine and if a fee could be offered great but if not, I think they would consider playing anyway.
