What albums have you heard in the recent past where you have expected them to take off and attract a DiS or similar audience but they have just failed to catch on? What albums do feel are suspiciously absent from the discussions on this here board? Maybe you felt they were were a bit glossed over or even unjustly didn't seem to register at all.

A few times on here I've mentioned 'Gorilla Manor' by Local Natives. Took me a while but I think it's an ace wee record. The sort of record I would have expected to find a dedicated band of followers but I've not really encountered much love for it here, there or anywhere really - apart from the generally positive reviews.

I'd probably also include Frightened Rabbit's latest too. Not as good as Midnight Organ Fight but still, at times, a thrilling listen.

Despite the fact I don't like them I'd also have expected more 'The Drums' chat on here too. There was that buynikeshoes (do we abbreviate this to kik? - I'm sure I saw this somewhere) thread but not much elsewhere.

Anyway over to you, or not.
