Ok, I'm a massive fan and was so excited when I heard the news that they reformed and were playing Reading. I saw them back in '03 at Bixton Academy and was, pretty much one of the best gigs I'd ever been to (just before the height of their success and then break-up.
However I am CONCERNED that they won't turn up and Pete will do is ususal thing and get wasted and disappoint the Reading crowd. Could this be the reason why they are not at the top of the bill for Saturday night....Arcade Fire have managed to find themselves ahead of The Libertines, which I think is just insurance on Reading's behalf just in case The Libertines once again fail to show up or are distracted by internal disputes.Let's just HOPE NOT!

I think they're pre-warm up gig at The Forum will be a good testament to what we can expect to see at Reading. I'm going to try to see their pre-festival gig and hope they meet expectations at Reading. This could be the start of great things to come from the Libs....will there be a new album? will this be followed by a tour....a new era for the band and possibly for the fans...
