My GC finally bit the dust during a replay of Metroid. It was a silver ltd edition Resi Evil 4 one, and it has served me well.

Smaller people in my family have thrown pads at it when losing at Melee or Kart, I have wanted to destroy it when falling down the same chasm in Price of Persia for the 80th time, and Mario Smash Football was played once on it, which was at least a novelty.

I actually loved the GC - great console, great design, GREAT pad. Let's all remember them together. Yeah.
