So I have a 'proper' copy. Much smoother and easier going, musically, than Skeletal Lamping, but less actively anthemic than Hissing Fauna... on the face of it it's quite chipper, but actually Kevin says some really very dark things, I suppose in an awful way I'm quite glad he's still a bt fucked up. It's not really super R&B in soubd at all, and the 'big' name guest singers make fairly low key contributions. After three or so listens I'd say the fact it's so smooth and lush has rather come at the expense of hooks, to some degree, though it's all pretty good and the last four songs (where the music is more royghed up) are amazing, like.
