I don't know if any of you have Ryan Adams on facebook.

But it's pretty clear from the updates he makes that he is passionate for rar rar rar music.

I find this really strange. It never comes through any of his music. Apart from his comedy output of course.

It doesn't make me love him any less and he's still probably the only musician that I'd like to meet.

But it makes you wonder: is his heart in it? He never talks about anything country, roots, bluesy etc. whatsoever. He's absolutely nuts for a style of music that couldn't be more different to the one he's producing.

Does this mean he goes into "work mode" to produce all these wonderful tunes? And then when he's back to being himself it's all evil monster music?

I'm sure those of you gifted in boundary-pushing comedy will respond with "Musician in 'liking more than one style of music' shocker!" etc. But metal is literally all he seems to talk about. That's it. Nothing else.

What's his game?
