Just received my Boo Radleys reissues
And they're splendid. Nice convenient packaging. 3 discs in 3 pockets representing the great artwork theme of the album and including every B-side from the album singles. You also get all the remixes that were done at the time by such bands as stereolab and High Llamas. Now these aren't the generic remixes you usually see tacked on as b-sides but real works of originality from respected artists. Now the author of the essay in the sleeve isn't much to rave about but there is a nice album tribute from an anonymous source on both sleeves as well. I think these types of reissues make the case for CD buying still being an exciting proposition. Maybe if enough of us order these (and they are not expensive-unlike that ridiculously over-priced Mansun 3 disc reissue) they will also give similar treatment to Everythings alright forever, Kingsize and C'Mon Kids. Then the collection will be complete!
