Over the next few weeks the If There Is Hell Below Podcast (www.ifthereishellbelow.com ) will be releasing a series of World Cup Music Specials. You needn't worry, none of the songs are football based and we won't bore you about what tactic England should deploy in the Algeria game, we're just using the World Cup format to showcase music from the 32 competing countries.

Each podcast is a world cup group from A-H. On the first of our World Cup specials we've got South Africa's equivalent of Love and 13th Floor Elevators, we discover cosmic krautrock electronica in Mexico, candombe folk rock eccentricities in Uruguay and spoilt for choice in France we chose the Frenchest man on the planet to represent their musically rich country.

You don't have to even like football (we mention Jorge Campos, that's about it), it's just about good music.
