I've finally managed to get a new date for the mesmerising Steffen Basho-Junghans at Cafe Oto. Its on Friday the 2nd July and should be an evening of complete guitar amazingness. Steffen's compositions reflect a spiraling poetic universe which create majestic musical vistas much in a similar way as his name sake, Robbie Basho, who was a huge influence in his welding of minimal folk with Indian ragas on the 6 and 12 string guitars.

I'd definitely recommend listen to his myspace at www.myspace.com/steffenbashojunghans and i'd recommend getting the Robbie Basho Tribute CD which just came out on Important Records.
