There's quite an interesting discussion going on in the Netherlands about who to blame for all this load banter at gigs. A few weeks ago The Tindersticks cut short a gig they played at a festival because people were chattering too much, too loud. Since then there's been people saying the organisers are to blame for putting them in a hall which was too big (1500 capacity in this case) or that they were not big enough to headline etc. Then there is of course the argument that people should just shut up and listen. Lastly there are some who say it's the bands own fault, their music isn't interesting enough.
So, whose fault is it?
