What a great ATP. I nearly always enjoy ATP but I genuinely felt privileged to see so much amazing music this weekend. Spiritualized was utterly incredible but for me the weekend belonged to the African and Japanese acts, the extra Konono show was a nice surprise, even if Jason Pierce seemed to be in an entirely different room. Hope Sandoval was also surprisingly excellent, I was utterly hypnotised.

Missed the 2 acts I was most looking forward to - Broadcast and Joanna Newsom - due to work and still came home happy. Were they any good?
