I'm probably a bit late to the party on this one, but I've been meaning to check out Emeralds for AGES. Finally got round to getting hold of this year's self-titled thing and it's amazing. I can't quite believe I've not listened to them before - the thick analogue droneyness of the whole thing is bliss. The closest comparison I can come up with is the Harmonia/Eno album - and its associated remixes, I can hear a lot of common ground with Shackleton here.

Any recommendations for where to go next/similar stuff (slightly hypnagogic droney music).
