..well not strictly Dutch.

Me and my friends have moved to Leiden in The Netherlands from England and are currently rocking this sleepy town with our bands. We've called ourselves The Leiden Rock Company, since no-one else here seems to doing much rocking in this town. Plus being a 'company' both sounds cool and implies a far larger number of people are involved in this scene. It's actually just 5 guys.

Two of the bands we play in have just recorded new e.p.'s. Hyperbowl have released 'On Another Round' and The Sex Pests have released '14 Fucks'.
Hyperbowl do a sort of Pavement style, whereas The Sex Pests play a harder variety of rock, a bit like Mcclusky, Jesus Lizard, Shellac.

Since there's no Official World Cup song for England this year we decided to create our own anthem. We've made a video to accompany it. Here it is!

So yeah, there we are. Living in Holland is cool and it's definately had a great effect on our music. It's a bit like when The Beatles moved to Hamburg. Hah!
