i'm not one for having an obscure favourite band that gets no attention and frankly I'd love to tell people that SJ were my favourite band without having to go on to explain that, 1) they were not a religious band, and 2) that i don't just like them because no one's heard of them dickwipe.

so it's particularly galling that most major music websites have completely missed them - for god's sake, pitchfork did a top 200! two-hundred! and eminem was in it! but no place for Bright Flight (2001), Tanglewood Numbers (2005) or Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea (2008).

DiS, i expect this to be corrected when the best albums of the 2000s are published on this very site.
