Im doing a research project on this subject and would like any ideas of why this has occured and any good articles/sources for more information.

Im going to comment of the rise of digital music etc, record companies paying way over the top for artists e.g Robbie Williams and Madonna and the saturation of the charts now.

Any others reasons/topics i should include?
