Lee Mitchell - Love Is Here / Heart Over Head 7”

We are proud to announce that on April 24th 2010, Got Got Need Records will be releasing the debut 7” from Lee Mitchell! Hailing from the same scene in Bangor, Northern Ireland, that gave the world Gary Lightbody and Iain Archer of Snow Patrol as well as Foy Vance, Lee comes from a rich heritage of impeccable songwriting.

'Love Is Here' is a slice of rollicking country pop, swept along with gorgeous female backing vocals, soaring strings, and a shimmering piano line. Meanwhile, 'Heart Over Head' backs the 7”, offering up Lee’s more delicate side in a touching paean to love that recalls Damien Rice or Fionn Regan’s more intimate moments.

The 7” single is strictly limited edition, and is available exclusively at http://gotgotneed.bigcartel.com for £3.50, which includes a card with a link to free digital downloads of the songs.
