'no frills' as their set may have been Muse is just about the worst band I can think of.

I thought SxSW was meant to be a showcase for new bands, of course Muse, careerist musicians to the end who have a fair bit of stadium and otherwise experience are gonna sound relatively professional playing some dive in Austin. but it's not for them to regain whatever tenuous credibility they ever had. Fuck right off with your Myspace sponsored gig.

Muse is like prog without the interesting musical flourishes, with Kiss's inflated ego, but sadly still lacking any of Kiss's enjoyable songs. Muse can fuck right off, and stop pretending they don't enjoy Glenn Beck's endorsement.
