John Twells (Xela) - Fear of a Black Country Column
http://www.thelineofbestfit.com/2010/03/fear-of-a-black-country/
John Twells is the head of the ridiculously good Type Records, and also records excellent records under the name Xela (as you probably know if you're reading this)
I really like this guy's taste and he wrote this column for The Line of Best Fit, and I think it's pretty interesting to link to here because Type gets a lot of love, The Dream get a lot of love, and Pangaea gets a lot of love; but not often from the same people, and for beginnings it is also a lovely little overview into some pretty accessible, but still pretty interesting and forward-thinking music.
And as a sub-thread, people's favourite Xela/Type albums? For me, the former would still have to be The Dead Sea, and for the latter Mokira's Persona.
