This is bizarre but I've always loved the flaming lips but have never listened to anything by Mercury rev even though Jonathan donahue is ex-Flaming lips.
Which of their albums is worth getting cos what I have heard is pretty disparate, I heard they used to do some pretty trippy stuff like the lips but kind of cleaned up their sound a bit of late.
Any advice...
