THE MUNROES
www.myspace.com/themunroes
We've been desperate to get The Munroes back on the Broccoli bill after their debut set at The Old Queens Head blew everyone away. The Munroes are a loud, exciting and unique new rock’n’roll band taking influence from 60’s rock, 70’s punk, glam rock, britpop, American rhythm and blues as well as psychadelia and making a sound all of their own.
Having supported Pete Doherty at the infamous Libertines reunion at the at Rhythm Factory the band have just recorded their debut album 'DYING TO BE RE-BORN' - the words 'essential' and 'listening' spring to mind!

THE CELLOPHANE FLOWERS
www.myspace.com/thecellophaneflowers
Opening the show we have the incredible The Cellophane Flowers so make sure you get down early to catch their set.
The Cellophane Flowers are the masters of creating driving, accessible, quirky pop which appeals to a colourfully diverse audience. Their songs reflect an eclectic array of influences from tribal drumming to elements of jazz or even the dark tinge of 80’s pop. The 'Flowers are a force to be reckoned with, leaving unsuspecting audience members dazed and enthused through their whirlwind of sounds, instrument swapping and short but incredibly sweet live sets.
"Female-fronted slightly offkilter driving pop from London."
Tom Robinson - 6 Music
"A band from London who's members add even more international flair..."
Matt Murdock - WFNX-FM
