In May on the 1st bank holiday weekend we will be 4 years old as a music promotion group and we’d like to celebrate it.

We’ve already got RoTa at Notting Hill arts club pencilled in which is cool but the only problem with that there is no money involved, so reduces who we can ask to play, as they need to play for free. So we’re thinking of 2 ideas, either do RoTa and then when it finishes at 8. Head to another venue and continue the party with us and friends dj-ing or just do gig in a different venue with a late license and just stay there.

We’d like to be able to it as free entry, so more people can come along and just have a good time. However this may not be possible depending on the venue and we’ll charge to cover hire costs etc, if we have to do that.

I was wondering if you guys could suggest venues either near Notting Hill or generally not in Camden (because the crawl is on this weekend, so must venues will be involved with the fest). Which might be good for us to either do a gig in, dj in or both. Ideally no bigger than 200 cap, perhaps with a free entry policy, decent transport links, decent location and not too expensive to hire (if we need to head down that road) please?

I know I might be asking for a lot but it’s worth a go and to make you aware, I’ve already emailed the Old Blue Last.
