A pretty good haul, I feel. By The Throat is fantastic, should have picked it up ages ago. Invisible City is good, but I need to listen to it a bit more to fully get into it. I'd previosly checked out Arve Henriksen (thanks, MIE), Motorpsycho and Gnaw Their Tongues on spotify, so I know they're good. Worm Ouroboros are a post rock/metal group that actually manage to sound novel, unsurprising considering they're on Profound Lore, which seemingly can do no wrong. I'm listening to Wooden Veil now, and they're pretty brilliant - 'Psyche Folk' I suppose, but that doesn't close to describing their sound; drones and chanting and layers of found sound, home made percussion and diy gamelan.
